Sporting Clays Busselton is excited to promote the upcoming 13th Lever Action Silhouette State Championships happening from Thursday 4th July to Monday 7th July 2024 in Perth, Western Australia. Organised by SSAAWA & PLARC SSAA, this event welcomes all SSAA members to join in the fun. Get ready for matches like Rifle Match, Pistol Cartridge, and Small Bore, with a chance to showcase your skills and aim.
To kick things off, there will be a practice day on Thursday 4th July where you can get ready and steady your shot. Then, on match days, don't forget to sight in between 7:00 am and 8:15 am before the action begins. The morning briefing will be at 8:45 am, and the competition gets underway at 9:00 am sharp. Each day wraps up with medal presentations at 5:00 pm, so there's plenty of excitement throughout.
Adhering to the current Rifle Metallic Silhouette rulebook, the Lever Action Silhouette WA state team will be chosen based on the top ten finishes in the Lever Action Silhouette Annual State Championship. Make sure to read up on the selection criteria for a shot at being part of the team.
Interested participants can sign up for matches at $30.00 per 80 shot match and $80.00 for the 3-gun event, with juniors enjoying a half-price entry fee. While on-the-day registrations are available, getting in early is recommended. And remember, all competitors are expected to lend a hand to keep things running smoothly.
For those eyeing the top spots, medals will be awarded for the top 3 placements in all grades, along with trophies for two-gun, three-gun, and juniors. Plus, don't miss out on the chance to win $50 gift vouchers to use at WAFTA stores.
Looking to stay overnight? No problem. There's ample camping space at the venue with all the necessities like showers, toilets, and BBQ facilities. Limited power will be provided, and a delicious meal will be served on Friday night to keep you fueled up for the next day of shooting.
