Albany Creek Gymnastics Club Inc. is a not-for-profit sports club located in Brisbane, Australia. The club is run by a volunteer Management Committee and Sub Committee consisting of parents who are elected or appointed.
The history of Albany Creek Gymnastics Club dates back to 1975 when it was established in the Albany Creek district at Mahaca. Originally known as the Albany Creek Youth Club, the club moved to the Albany Creek Community Centre in 1984. In January 2005, due to growing numbers and a need for more space, the club relocated to its current purpose-built facility in the South Pine Sports Complex.
The mission of Albany Creek Gymnastics Club is to provide enjoyable and safe gymnastics training. The club aims to offer quality coaching to all its members, encouraging and motivating them to improve their gymnastics skills to the best of their ability. Albany Creek Gymnastics Club values enthusiasm, fun learning, and promoting a healthy lifestyle and environment.
The club offers a range of programmes suitable for different age groups and skill levels. Kindergym is a fun programme designed for children to develop coordination and self-esteem. The Recreational programmes, including WAG, MAG, Gym Fun, and Gym Girls, cater to all ages and focus on developing physical and mental abilities through gymnastics. The Competitive programme is invitation-only, emphasising technique, strength, attitude, and goal achievement.
Albany Creek Gymnastics Club also offers holiday programmes during school breaks and organises birthday parties for all ages. The fully trained staff will keep kids entertained with games and activities in the club's fully equipped gymnastics area.
