Badminton was first played in Charlton in 1938. Over the years numerous juniors have played in Victorian junior teams and Charlton College has won many Victorian Secondary Schools Sports Association State Championships.
Tuesday afternoons from 3 pm to app. 5:30 pm for juniors (9 yrs old as at 31st December each year).
Tuesday nights from 7. 30 to 10. 00 pm for adults (over 14 yrs of age).
Friday mornings from 9 am to 12 noon for ladies.
All badminton is played on a ladder system, resulting in fairly even competition for all standards of players.
