The husband-and-wife team Mark and Kerrin Talbot, both highly experienced martial artists, run Choi Kwang Do Townsville North. Mark, a 4th Degree Deputy Master Black Belt, International Instructor, and Examiner, began his martial arts journey in 2008 with his eldest son and has been passionate about it ever since. Kerrin, a 3rd Degree Black Belt, International Instructor, and Examiner, brings over ten years of Choi Kwang Do Martial Art expertise to the club. Together, they ensure the smooth operation and running of the school.

The club offers various programmes for different age groups, including children's classes, family programmes, and adult's classes. Many parents join their children on the floor, making it a truly family-oriented experience.
