For nature enthusiasts, Vanuatu's first national park, Vathe Conservation Area, is located to the north of Espiritu Santo. It provides a sanctuary for various endemic species, including birds, butterflies, wild orchids, flying foxes, and reptiles. Additionally, the island has a rich history, as it played a significant role during World War II, serving as a base for allied troops. Divers can still witness the remnants of this occupation in the form of historic sites and abandoned equipment both on land and underwater.

Starting the day at Pacific Dive Headquarters, located at The Espiritu Hotel on Main Street, divers are briefed on the dive site, provided with hire equipment if needed, and transported to the dive site. Single dive tours run for approximately 4 hours, giving divers ample time to explore the breathtaking underwater world.
