The founder and head instructor of Goshin Ryu Karate is Dr. Richard Bradford, a 9th Dan master with extensive martial arts training spanning nearly 60 years. Dr. Bradford holds an Australian Government recognised Diploma of Coaching and was Australia's National Karate Coach from 1977 to 1993.
He has also appeared in movies like 'World of Kung Fu' and 'Kung Fu Killers' alongside Bruce Lee. Dr. Bradford has personal coaching experience with three Australian Martial Artists who obtained World Titles, a record still standing in the Oceania and South East Asian region.
Goshin Ryu Karate – Laverton is dedicated to the development of children's and family Karate programmes worldwide. Currently, Dr. Richard Bradford is expanding the Goshin Ryu Karate system in China and serves as the technical director to both the Chinese National Karate and Olympic Taekwondo teams. This commitment to promoting Karate extends to various locations in Australia, including New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, and China.
