The squad pathways include National Open & Performance, National, National Youth, State Performance, State Development, Junior Performance, Junior Youth, Junior Squad, Youth Development, and Development squads. Each squad is led by qualified and experienced coaches who are members of the Australian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association.

The club places a strong emphasis on the development of swimmers, focusing on stroke technique, improving fitness, and fostering team spirit. As swimmers progress within their squad, the coaching staff will recommend moving up to the next level based on the swimmer's progress and the availability of a position.

Laverton Wyndham Aquatics believes in providing transparent information to its members. The club offers a comprehensive chart outlining the squad development pathway, allowing swimmers to understand their progression within the club. In addition, the club has a thorough training fee structure that is calculated on an annual basis and divided into 12 monthly instalments to accommodate squad breaks throughout the year.
