About
The Knox Triathlon Club is based in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne, established in 1996.
Our club offers full training facilities, support, and friendship to athletes of all abilities, gender, and age.
Whether you are just starting out in the sport of Triathlon, or you are in full training for the next Ironman, we can help you to achieve your goals!
Life Members are announced from time to time by the Committee for persons who have gone above and beyond the call for services to the club and it’s members.
In the spirit of competition and matching abilities against each other, KTC awards both Male & Female Club Champions each year. To be eligible for Club Champion, athletes must be financial club members and complete at least three Melbourne or Victorian based Triathlon Sprint distance races over the racing season. A points system has been developed by the club to rank each athletes placing within their respective Age Group to contribute towards an overall points ranking for the year. If an Athlete races in more than three Sprint distance races, their best three results will count towards their overall point ranking for the season.
The Club is run and managed by a Volunteer Committee with elections held on a yearly basis at an Annual General Meeting of members held following the end of each financial year (30th June). Committee meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month, 8:00pm to 9:30pm at the Knox Park Pavilion – any member is welcome to attend.
