The club has a rich history, having been located at Edenborough Park since 1975 with an impeccable record. They have recently acquired a new bowpress to enhance the equipment available to members.

Membership and fees at Ku-Ring-Gai Bowmen are reasonable and accessible, making it easy for anyone to get involved in archery. As a beginner, you can participate in their comprehensive beginners courses that are run every two months throughout the year. These courses are conducted by nationally accredited coaches and instructors from Archery Australia, catering to novices of all ages. The sessions are held on Sunday mornings from 10:00am to around 12:30pm, and all archery equipment is provided.

Participants are advised to wear close-fitting clothes and shoes for safety.

After completing the beginners course, individuals can choose to become “Temporary Members” to be properly affiliated with the club without formal membership. Club equipment can still be rented for a small fee of $5. 00 per day until individuals decide if they want to continue with the sport and become full members. Formal membership comes with additional benefits and opportunities for further participation in club activities.
