Lismore Workers Swim Team encourages swimmers to set goals and achieve their best, whether it be in competition or for fun and fitness. We are fortunate to have the new Lismore Memorial Baths as our home base, and it is certainly a wonderful facility. It has heated 50m and 25m pools and a shallow toddlers' pool. As a training pool and a competition pool, it is the best in the district.
Club Nights are held every Friday night from October through to April with a break over the Christmas School Holidays. All ages and abilities are catered for with even some parents having a go. The aim is to participate, improve your personal times and hone your technique in a fun and family oriented atmosphere. Our incredible barbecue committee provides delicious food, so you don’t have to worry about dinner that night.
We ask that nominations are received by 5. 45 pm on the Friday evening, so we can get going by 6. 00 pm. Generally, racing will be finished by 7.
30 pm.
Lismore Workers Swim Team is a member of the Swimming North Coast Swimming Association and is affiliated with Swimming NSW. We promote and encourage swimmers to participate in Far North Coast Swimming Association carnivals.
