Established in 2001, Melissa's Dance Studio is committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for dancers who are looking to dance for fun or pursue a career in dance.
Melissa's Dance Studio offers three fully equipped dance spaces and a team of fully qualified and experienced teachers. With a wide range of dance styles available, including Classical Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Tap, there is a class for everyone at Melissa's Dance Studio.
As the official location for READY SET DANCE & READY SET BALLET in Griffith, Melissa's Dance Studio has been recognised for its excellence in dance education. The studio was a recipient of the READY SET DANCE Business Growth Award at the READY SET DANCE 2019 Conference and the Magical Moments Award at the 2023 Conference.
In addition to regular classes, Melissa's Dance Studio offers various opportunities for dancers to further their skills and showcase their talents. The studio has an online and onsite dancewear store, ensuring dancers have access to quality dancewear and accessories. They also organise workshops with guest teachers and choreographers, both within the studio and in major cities. Students have the chance to perform at an informal mid-year concert at the end of Term 2, as well as two exciting concert productions at the end of November, giving them the opportunity to perform in full costume in a professional theatre setting.
Melissa's Dance Studio also provides additional opportunities for dedicated dancers to compete in eisteddfods and competitions through solo lessons. They also offer ballet exams with the ATOD (Australian Teachers of Dancing) and opportunities for students to dance at community events throughout the year.
