Northern Suburbs Training Club

Northern Suburbs Training Club (NSTC) is a renowned sports club located in Sydney, Australia. Affiliated with Dogs NSW, the club has been serving the Ku-ring-gai community since 1967. With a team of dedicated and experienced volunteers, NSTC aims to educate its members on responsible dog ownership and help them train their dogs to become well-behaved, socialised companions who integrate seamlessly into the community.

At NSTC, all breeds and cross-breeds are welcome, and vaccinated puppies can start attending classes from four months of age. The club focuses on building a strong bond between owner and dog through positive training methods, which begin with basic obedience training.

These disciplines include obedience training, agility training, dances with dog training, retrieving ability test for gundogs, rally obedience training, and heelwork to music training. In case of extreme weather, such as temperatures above 30 °C in the shade for agility training or above 32 °C for obedience training, the club may cancel the training sessions to ensure the safety and well-being of both dogs and owners.

The club's President, Barbara Rogleff, encourages all dog owners to join NSTC and benefit from the fun, education, and exercise it offers. Members have the opportunity to achieve the Kuring-gai Canine Award and compete in various dog sports under the guidance of qualified instructors.
