Paramount Targetsports, located in Brisbane City, is a sports club dedicated to target rifle shooting. The club offers shooting opportunities for both small-bore rifle (. 22 calibre) and air rifle (. 177 calibre), both of which are Olympic, Paralympic, and Commonwealth Games events.

Paramount Targetsports operates as a volunteer-run club and holds shooting sessions every Friday night, except for certain exceptions. The shooting sessions take place at the Brisbane International Shooting Centre (BISC) within the Belmont range complex. The club's range is fully covered, allowing shooting to take place regardless of the weather conditions.

Paramount Targetsports prides itself on being a friendly club that welcomes visitors. For those interested in experiencing target rifle shooting, the club offers the opportunity to book a spot on a Friday night shooting session. Visitors can witness firsthand why target rifle shooting is such a popular and enjoyable sport. Additionally, on the second Saturday of each month, the club organises a Come and Try day where visitors can try small-bore target rifle shooting at a distance of 50m and air rifle shooting at a distance of 10m.

To ensure that visitors receive proper guidance and assistance, bookings are essential for both Friday night sessions and Saturday Come and Try events. Interested individuals can reserve their spot by selecting a date from the upcoming visitor events listed on the club's website.

Safety is a top priority at Paramount Targetsports, but the club also places importance on creating a social and enjoyable atmosphere. Throughout the year, the club hosts various social functions, making it one of the more socially-oriented clubs in Brisbane. Paramount Targetsports is dedicated to helping its members achieve their goals, whether they are simply looking to participate in social shoots or aspire to compete in state, national, and international competitions. Some of the club's current members have reached the highest level of the sport, participating in and winning medals at events such as the Olympic/Paralympic Games, Commonwealth Games, and World Cups.

However, regardless of their dreams and aspirations, all members started their journey by trying out the sport at the club.

Paramount Targetsports is also dedicated to the development of junior competitors. The club frequently organises introduction shoots for groups such as Schools, Girl Guides, Scouts, and Cadets. Target shooting is an excellent sport for teenagers to learn self-discipline, safety, and control.

For visitors interested in attending the regular club nights on Fridays, the arrival time is 7:00 pm, and shooting starts promptly at 8:00 pm. The Friday night sessions take place at the Brisbane International Shooting Centre (BISC) within the Belmont Shooting Complex. The cost for adult visitors/non-members is $45, while juniors under 18 pay $35. This includes all requirements, such as fees, targets, rifle hire, and ammunition.

It's important to note that the club does not have EFTPOS facilities, but they do accept credit card payments or cash.

The Come and Try sessions are held on the second Saturday of every month. Participants must make a booking in advance and arrive at 9:30 am for a 10:00 am start. Similar to Friday nights, the Come and Try sessions take place at the Brisbane International Shooting Centre (BISC) within the Belmont Shooting Complex. Visitors can expect a similar experience to Friday nights, but with coaches present exclusively for the visitors.
