Originally starting as a nine-hole course on the sand dunes at East Wynyard, the club expanded in the 1960s to include an additional nine holes on the river flats along Seabrook Creek.

The unique layout of Seabrook Golf Club provides golfers with distinct challenges that showcase the different styles of play across the 18 holes. With the recent changes made in 2023, the course now features an exciting new 11-hole layout. Visitors are encouraged to come and see the updates for themselves!

As Seabrook Golf Club approaches its 100th year in 2027, it continues to be a beloved destination for golf enthusiasts. The club hosts a variety of standard competitions, including the Members Monthly Medal held on the first Saturday of every month, open competitions on Saturdays, weekly competitions, and open Twilight 9-hole competitions with a BBQ on Wednesdays coinciding with daylight saving.
