Shoalhaven Clay Target Club (SCTC) is a well-established sports club located in Shoalhaven City Council, New South Wales, Australia. Originally formed in 1945 as the Nowra Gun Club, SCTC has a rich history and has undergone multiple relocations over the years. It is currently situated on Turpentine Road, boasting a range of facilities and amenities for its members.
The club offers a diverse range of clay target shooting disciplines, including Down-The-Line (DTL) shooting, Skeet shooting, and Sporting shooting. With 2 DTL layouts, 1 Skeet layout, and an extensive Sporting range, members have access to a variety of shooting options. The club also features a clubhouse with camping facilities for the convenience of its members.
SCTC holds regular shooting sessions on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month. Additionally, the club organises various competitions and events throughout the year. One of its major annual competitions is “The Misty Mountain,” a two-day event consisting of a 75-target Sporting event on Saturday and a 100-target Sporting event on Sunday. The club concludes its year with a special Christmas shoot and awards presentation for its members.
