Located just outside of sunny Port Augusta,on Yorkey's Crossing Road (see map), the Spencer Gulf Shooting Club was established in 1976.
The popular, long-standing club offers many practical shooting disciplines for rifle, shotgun, and handgun. The jewel in the crown would have to be the Bushranger Shoot ™, which is held each year in June. This shoot is the longest, continually running IPSC style 3-gun event in the world.
The club holds events each month (see calendar) and continually strives to stimulate and challenge those who come to compete with imaginative, innovative, interesting and original courses of fire.
