Sydney Gliding offers a range of gliding experiences to suit your needs, including Joy flights and trial instructional flights.

Start off with a gliding experience to sample the joys of soaring. There are no specific skills required as one of our fully qualified pilots will be in control throughout the flight, all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the view. We have a range of joy flight prices based on the launch height of the glider.

Alternatively you can try an air experience flight with one of our qualified instructors. On this flight you will be allowed to take the controls at certain stages of the flight if you wish so that you can experience for yourself how easily the aircraft can be controlled. Air experience flights are for those who are interested in learning to fly or who would just like to have a go at the controls during the flight.

There are a number of factors that affect the duration of a flight such as the weather, however, a higher launch height gives you a longer minimum flight duration if there are no thermals present and a better chance of extending the flight further by finding and using thermals if they are present.
