Tallebudgera Pony Club offers a variety of events and clinics to cater to riders of all levels and ages. The club focuses on developing riders' skills in various disciplines, including dressage, showjumping, cross country, and mounted games. Rally days are held on the first Sunday at 9am and the third Saturday at 1pm of each month. Club uniform and a helper are required for all riders attending the rally days.
In addition to rally days, Tallebudgera Pony Club also hosts special events throughout the year. One of the major upcoming events is the Show Jumping Derby Day on Sunday, 19th November 2023. Riders can participate in the event by nominating on the day. The entry fee is $8 per showjumping round and $16 for the derby course, including levy's.
The aim of Tallebudgera Pony Club is to encourage young people to ride and enjoy various sports connected with horses and riding. The club provides instruction in riding and horsemanship while instilling in its members the proper love and care for their animals. The club also promotes high ideals of horsemanship, citizenship, loyalty, strength of character, and self-discipline.
Tallebudgera Pony Club has a strong presence in the equestrian community. The club and Zone 2 were well represented at the 2023 PCQ State Jumping Equitation and Show Jumping Championships held in Bundyberg. Congratulations to all the riders who participated and represented the club!
