The Tasmanian Axemen's Association (TAA) aims to promote and maintain woodchopping as a Sport developed from our historical heritage, fostering the appreciation of the fine skills required in the use of Axe, Saw and Chainsaw.
The Australian Axemen's Association is responsible for determining policies and priorities on substantial issues relating to the administration and conducting of Woodchopping events throughout Australia and on a global basis. The TAA's role is the education and implementation of national policies, and actively seeks to promote the skill of Axemenship and provide quality sport and sportsmanship within Tasmania.
