Tuggeranong United FC is one of the largest and most prominent sports clubs in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory (ACT). Tuggeranong United has an impressive player base of over 800 football players across various age groups. The club boasts teams competing in the National leading League, Masters, State League, Junior League, and MiniRoos. As the largest sporting association in the Tuggeranong Valley and one of the biggest football clubs in the ACT, Tuggeranong United offers a diverse and competitive environment for football enthusiasts.

For the youngest players starting their football careers, Tuggeranong United offers the MiniRoo programme. Open to both girls and boys aged from Under 5 to Under 9, these games are played with modified rules and fields for a focus on enjoyment and learning. Players learn football by playing football, in line with the Discovery phase of the FFA National Curriculum. Parents can register their children for the MiniRoo programme when registrations are open, and players will be placed in teams by dedicated volunteers and contacted by the team manager or coach.

To participate in the MiniRoo programme, players are expected to provide their own football boots or sneakers, with a 'welcome to football' pack included for Under 5 players upon registration. The pack contains a ball, TUFC socks, TUFC shorts, shin pads, and a drink bottle for personal use throughout the season. MiniRoo teams are also supplied with a match ball, team shirts, and cones. However, team equipment must be returned at the end of the season.

The TUFC shop offers equipment needed for the MiniRoo programme, and its opening hours will be announced closer to the start of the season. Typically, the shop opens every Saturday and on select nights leading up to the season.

The full MiniRoo draw will be provided to coaches and managers once it is complete. Team lists for the upcoming season will be emailed to participants, with some minor changes and potential errors that can be addressed by contacting the club.
