Unley Yoga is a popular sports club located in Adelaide, South Australia. Led by Caroline, a dedicated and experienced yoga instructor, Unley Yoga offers a range of classes, workshops, and retreats to help individuals enhance their physical and mental well-being.
The club's classes are held at 24 Arthur St, Unley, SA 5061, and are designed for practitioners of all levels, from beginners to experienced yogis. The class timetable is flexible to accommodate different schedules, with morning and evening sessions available. The last classes for 2023 will be on Thursday 21 December, and all classes will resume on Tuesday 16 January 2024.
Unley Yoga also organises specialised workshops and retreats to provide participants with intensive and transformative yoga experiences. One of their upcoming events is the New Year Workshop, taking place from Tuesday 9th to Thursday 11th January 2024. This workshop offers the opportunity to start the new year with a renewed commitment to self-care and deepening one's yoga practise. The workshop runs from 7 am to 9 am for three consecutive mornings, with a cost of $90 ($75 for concession).
Those interested can contact Caroline directly to book their spot.
Retreats are an integral part of Unley Yoga's offerings, providing a chance for participants to immerse themselves in a serene and nurturing environment while deepening their yoga practise. Unley Yoga offers two annual retreats: the Port Elliot Beach House retreat in Port Elliot and the Tara Hills Retreat Centre retreat in Brukunga. These retreats are highly sought-after and tend to book out quickly. Interested individuals can contact Caroline to be added to the waiting list in case of cancellations or upcoming retreats.
Unley Yoga values community engagement and supports meaningful causes. One of their notable events is the End of Year Yoga & Dinner Fundraiser, which takes place on Tuesday 5th December. Participants are invited to practise yoga together and then enjoy a bowl of homemade curry prepared by Caroline. The only requirement to attend this event is a donation to the School of St Judes in Tanzania, a school that relies solely on private donations for its operations.
Caroline has chosen to consistently support this school, despite the numerous global disasters that have occurred throughout the year. To attend the event, individuals are encouraged to let Caroline know in advance.
Unley Yoga's website, developed by I O S, serves as a comprehensive resource for information on classes, workshops, retreats, costs, and contact details. The club's commitment to providing a nurturing space for individuals to improve their physical and mental well-being is evident in their diverse offerings and commitment to supporting charitable causes.
