Welcome to Warwick Pentath Runners, a sports club located in the Southern Downs Regional area of Queensland, Australia. With more than two decades of existence, Warwick Pentath Runners is proud to celebrate its 21st year, serving as an exciting and inclusive platform for runners of all ages and abilities.

The Warwick Pentath Runners annual event takes place over a full weekend at the end of May each year. The event comprises five races, each offering a unique experience and challenge. Together, these races cover a marathon distance, providing a diverse and thrilling running experience.

The first race kicks off on Saturday morning with a half-marathon, providing participants the opportunity to explore the stunning surroundings of Warwick, as they run from one point to another, instead of the usual race circuit format. Following the race, a satisfying breakfast is served, and a bus is available to transport runners back to the starting point.

After a short rest, the second race, a 4. 6 km cross country run, takes place, immersing runners in the scenic landscapes of Warwick. The day continues with a 5 km road race on flat terrain, followed by a presentation ceremony to honour participants' achievements.

Sunday begins with an early start for the challenging 10 km hill climb at Killarney, offering breathtaking views and a true test of strength and endurance. The weekend concludes with a fast-paced 1500-metre “sprint” race in the heart of the Warwick, showcasing speed and agility.

Warwick Pentath Runners welcomes all runners to participate in any or all of the five races over the two-day event. Whether you want to push yourself to complete the full marathon distance or choose which races suit your abilities and interests, the Warwick Pentath Runners event guarantees an unforgettable and exhilarating experience for everyone.
