Are you the owner of Yarra Pistol Club?
Yarra Pistol Club is situated at 830 Wellington Road. Lysterfield (Melway Ref: Map 83 H7) in a delightful bush setting adjoining Lysterfield Lake Park.
The Club grounds cover approximately 10 acres. The facilities include eight outdoor shooting range sections, a large indoor air pistol range, a substantial clubhouse including a kitchen – bar and a large car park.
Members are welcome to use the ranges for target shooting practise and competitions.
The Yarra Pistol Club was formed originally in May 1959 to organise, encourage and control amongst members the sport of competitive target pistol shooting. In 1965 the Yarra Pistol Club was incorporated.
The Yarra Pistol Club is affiliated with the Victorian Amateur Pistol Association (VAPA), Pistol Australia (PA) and the International Sports Shooting Federation (ISSF). These bodies in various ways govern our sport, produce rules for pistol matches and authorise our existence with statutory Government Departments.
