Ambrose Gymnasium

Ambrose Gymnasium, located in Calgary, offers a range of top-notch facilities to promote the well-being of its students. All Ambrose students have access to the fitness centre, gym, and squash courts. The fitness centre is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and boasts a stunning northwest view of the Rocky Mountains. The gym, also known as the Lions' Den, has a seating capacity of 600 for athletic events. It serves as the home of the Ambrose Lions Basketball, Futsal, and Volleyball teams, as well as intramural activities. Current students and staff can enjoy open gym times for shooting around and socializing with friends. Additionally, students and staff can attend Lions soccer, volleyball, and basketball games for free.

For those interested in squash, Ambrose Gymnasium offers a provincial-level court in the Residence and Education Centre. Students, staff, faculty, and alumni can book the court for play, which is open every day from 6am to 11pm. To secure a spot on the squash court, individuals can email Claude Bolton, the Athletic Facilities Manager, using their Ambrose University email address.
