Welcome to Andy Nugent's Academy of Martial Arts, a full-time purpose-built Martial Arts Centre of Excellence located in the heart of Stevenage, Hertfordshire. Our academy caters to individuals of all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced, hobbyists to professionals, and offers a wide range of martial arts disciplines including Jeet Kune Do, BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu), MMA (Mixed Martial Arts), Filipino Kali, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Submission Wrestling, and JUDO.

Led by our experienced instructor, Andy Nugent, who has been involved in martial arts for over 35 years, we offer tuition in a variety of martial arts disciplines. Andy is an instructor under Guro Dan Inosanto in Jun Fan Gung Fu / Jeet Kune Do and Filipino Martial Arts, as well as Sensei Erik Paulson in CSW (Combat Submission Wrestling) and Guro Rick Faye in MKG (Minnesota Kali Group). He holds a 3rd Degree Black Belt in BJJ under Mestre Ricardo De La Riva, and is also an instructor under Guro Bob Breen, John Harvey, Bob Spour, and Sensei Harry Jones.
Our academy prides itself on its great atmosphere, great people, and great coaches.
