Welcome to Ashiita-Kai Karate Kids, located in Wadebridge, Cornwall. We offer self-defence and martial arts classes for all ages, starting from 4 years old. Our aim is to provide a safe and enjoyable environment where everyone can learn and excel in karate.
Classes take place throughout Mid-Cornwall, making it easy for students from various areas to join in. Whether you're new or have some experience, we cater to all levels with beginner-friendly sessions as well as advanced programmes.
Each session at Ashiita-Kai Karate Kids combines cardio, pad work, self-defence techniques, and non-combative sparring. This approach not only boosts fitness but also equips you with skills to stay safe.
Our traditional Japanese syllabus focuses on defence, determination, and confidence. Students learn a mix of kicks, punches, blocks, and self-defence techniques, as well as traditional language and etiquette.
Safety is paramount at Ashiita-Kai. All instructors are fully qualified, DBS-checked, and our venues are insured. We also run a benevolent trust fund scheme to supplement our students' insurance for added peace of mind.
We regularly organise fun events, competitions, leader boards, and opportunities to earn badges and prizes. This adds excitement and a sense of achievement to our students' karate journey.
Our instructors are respected Black Belts with years of experience in training, teaching, and competition. Classes are available on most days, with dojos in various locations across Cornwall.
Ashiita-Kai Karate Kids is family-friendly, and we encourage families to train together. Karate is a great activity for all ages and skill levels, offering fitness, fun, and social interaction.
