Embracing the challenge of creating a centre for yoga education and lifestyle, Shantimurti decided to establish Ashram Yoga Ohui Retreat to provide opportunities for individuals to deepen their practise and explore their inner and energetic realms.

Over the course of 12 years, Ashram Yoga Ohui Retreat has been the caretaker and resident of this sacred land, offering retreats, workshops, and teacher trainings to thousands of people. The centre has had a profound impact on those who have attended its programmes, allowing them to find transformation, peace, and connexion.

As the lease on the land comes to an end, Ashram Yoga Ohui Retreat sees this as a natural time to pause and reflect on the chapter that has come to a close. In the first half of 2021, Ashram Yoga will be creating space for new possibilities to emerge. While continuing with Ashram Yoga projects, founder Atma will spend more focused time with her family, and Devananda will take a well-deserved sabbatical. Retreat Manager Becky will also welcome new ventures that excite and inspire her.

To celebrate the closing chapter of Ashram Yoga Ohui Retreat, a full-throttle month of events will be held in November. This is a final opportunity for individuals to experience the magic of this space and place. Whether it's a casual stay, retreat, learning opportunity, or an exploration of inner realms, Ashram Yoga Ohui Retreat welcomes all to honour and bid farewell to this beautiful space.

Moving forward, Ashram Yoga will embark on a new phase of innovation and creativity. The centre's online monthly subscription will continue, offering signature classes and a platform for sharing content. Additionally, online course content will be curated for further study and learning. Ashram Yoga also plans to teach classes around the country, upholding the philosophy of teaching yoga door to door and shore to shore.
