ASKA Shotokan Karate is a sports school and gym located in Labrador, Queensland. Founded by Alan Bainbridge, the academy aims to provide individuals from all walks of life with the opportunity to learn Shotokan Karate skills and values at a nominal cost. With over five decades of experience in Karate, Alan Bainbridge is an esteemed 8th Dan Black Belt Chief Instructor and has been inducted into the World and Australian Martial Arts Hall of Fame.

Additionally, the academy offers weekly payments with family discounts, ensuring that learning karate is accessible to everyone. Alan Bainbridge and the academy sponsor five children in Africa every month through World Vision, Plan 13, and Queensland Cancer Research Council. The academy has also raised funds for numerous charities, including the children's hospital, tsunami relief, guide dogs for the blind, breast cancer foundations, and cancer research organisations.
