Axis Fencing Club

Axis Fencing Club, located in Markham, is the largest Saber-only fencing club in Canada. Our goal is not only to focus on fencing performance, but also on resilience development and cultural study. We believe that strong physical and mental health are important for every individual, and we strive to provide guidance in achieving this.

At Axis Fencing Club, we have a team of highly experienced and multinational coaches who bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our club. Our coaches include Valeriy Shturbabin, Oleh Shturbabin, Sean Chi, Elliott Empereur, Nikita Nikitkin, Long Yu, and Ko Jin. Each coach has a unique background and specialization, ensuring that our members receive top-quality coaching at all levels.

We offer a variety of courses for kids, teenagers, and adults, including Baby Fencing, Adult Fencing, and Competition classes. Our club provides a supportive and positive environment for individuals to learn and improve their fencing skills, no matter their age or experience level.
