Backwell Karate, also called Backwell Shotokan Karate Club, is a traditional Karate club situated in Backwell, UK. Established in 1978, it has a solid history of helping students from the Bristol area achieve their full potential through martial arts. Backwell Karate is part of the renowned Bristol Karate Academy.

The club’s syllabus covers basics, kata (traditional forms), and sparring. Training caters to all levels, from controlled drills for beginners to free sparring for advanced members.
