James, our dedicated organiser, has a heartfelt message to share with all of you from the Ballimore Farm Estate.

James and the team have embraced sustainable methods to preserve the beauty of the Scottish countryside. They’ve installed solar panels and a biomass heating system to reduce their carbon footprint. Guests are encouraged to recycle and conserve water and electricity during their stay.

The Farm House at Ballimore offers five ensuite bedrooms, two lounges, and an open-plan kitchen/dining room, making it ideal for family getaways or groups. A heated indoor pool provides fun and exercise.

For a more intimate stay, the Farm Cottage features a cosy double bedroom, a spacious bathroom, and a lounge with a kitchenette, wood-burning stove, and sofa bed. This cottage is perfect for couples or small families.

James also resides on the estate, in the Farm Lodge. He assures guests that assistance is always at hand. Chickens, dogs, and other animals add charm to the lodge’s garden, while sheep and Highland cows graze nearby.

The views at Ballimore Farm Estate are breathtaking, with snow-topped mountains, the glimmering Loch, and Highland cows in the mist. Though secluded, the estate is just 1.5 miles from Kilchrenan and 5 miles from Taynuilt. Oban is a short drive away, and Glasgow Airport is within 1.5 hours.

Ballimore Farm Estate is a working farm where guests can meet Highland Cattle, Hebridean Sheep, and Black-faced Sheep. Local wildlife includes buzzards, eagles, ospreys, and many more. Seasonal visitors like cuckoos and swallows add to the natural charm.

James is proud of the estate's eco-friendly initiatives. Both the Farm House and Cottage were built using sustainable materials and feature energy-saving solutions. Guests are invited to join in these efforts.
