Bangalore North Chess Forum (BNCF) is a vibrant and nurturing community dedicated to promoting the love of chess. Founded in 2015 by two visionary women entrepreneurs, it was established as a non-profit entity with the heartfelt motto, "Let's Promote Chess!" BNCF aims to foster a deep-rooted passion for chess at the grassroots level, offering an array of engaging chess-related activities such as tournaments, training camps, and online webinars. The club is proudly affiliated with the United Karnataka Chess Association (UKCA), ensuring it adheres to the highest standards in chess education and tournament organization.

This was poignantly showcased when BNCF, in collaboration with Mysore Chess Centre, organized a fundraising tournament for Late Sheshadri’s family, raising a generous INR 1,80,000. The solidarity and contributions from the Karnataka Chess fraternity were overwhelming, highlighting the deep bonds within the chess community. Additionally, a benevolent patron stepped forward to cover the college fees for Sheshadri’s son, further exemplifying the club's commitment to supporting its members.
