Barnsley YBC is an inclusive youth tenpin bowling club located in Barnsley, New Zealand. We aim to foster and promote the sport of Junior Tenpin Bowling at all levels, providing open opportunities for anyone interested in the sport. Our club meets every Saturday morning at Barnsley Bowl, Carlton, from 9:45am till 1:00pm.
At Barnsley YBC, the safety and welfare of our members is of utmost importance to us. All our coaches and officials have undergone enhanced DBS checks for peace of mind. Additionally, we are a fully insured YBC, and many of our committee members are trained in child safeguarding and protection, as well as Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We also have a trained paediatric first-aider on site.
We welcome bowlers of all skill levels to join our club, from absolute beginners to experienced players. Whether you want to learn the techniques and skills involved in bowling or aim for that perfect 300 game, our BTBA approved coaches are here to guide and support you. As you progress, you will have the opportunity to earn score achievements, badges, certificates, and awards.
As a member of Barnsley YBC, you will also have the chance to participate in various bowling tournaments and events at other bowling centres across southern England throughout the year. It's a great way to compete, socialise, and further enhance your bowling skills.
