Welcome to Battle Cricket Club, a community club located in the real 'cradle of cricket' in 1066 country. With over 280 recorded years of cricket history in the town and local area, Battle Cricket Club values its rich heritage while also looking towards the present and future.
The club consists of two senior Saturday sides and a Friendly XI. The Friendly XI plays an established but expanding list of midweek games, as well as longer Sunday matches. We welcome touring sides, and we also embark on our own tours every three years. The club prides itself on being friendly and welcoming to all.
One of the club's main focuses is its junior section, which caters to both softball and hardball cricket. We have a dedicated team of Level 2 and Level 3 coaches who work tirelessly to help young players enjoy the game, develop their skills, and learn about teamwork and sportsmanship. The softball cricket is run using the national Dynamos programme.

In addition to cricket, Battle Cricket Club is committed to promoting mental health and wellbeing in our community. We have partnered with the local NHS to launch the Sussex Cricket Mental Health & Wellbeing Hub, an online resource designed to provide hope and support through shared experiences.
Looking ahead to 2024, our junior programme will return with open arms, welcoming girls and boys of all ages. We offer softball and hardball training for different age groups, led by our skilled and qualified team of coaches.
