At Becky Adlington's SwimStars Birkenhead, our goal is to teach children to swim the Becky way. Our bespoke Learn to Swim programme is delivered by experienced teachers who have been trained to teach this vital life skill in a fun and innovative way. We believe that learning to swim should be enjoyable and safe, so we prioritise both fun and water safety in our lessons.

To ensure that swimmers are in groups with others of a similar ability, our group lessons are divided into four levels: Foundation, Early Swimmer, Improver, and Advanced. By grouping swimmers based on their abilities, we provide an environment that is conducive to learning and progress. Parents can use our handy group checker tool to determine which level is most suitable for their child.

We understand that starting swimming lessons can be daunting for some children, so we have small class sizes and teachers in the water for foundation lessons. This extra support helps children feel more comfortable and confident as they learn to swim. Our ultimate goal is to develop competent and confident swimmers who can make the transition to a swimming club or another aquatic discipline if they wish to.
