Bottesford Bowls Club, located in Nottingham, is a well-established club with a rich history. Originally known as The Rectory Bowls Club, it was founded in 1922 and was initially situated on the Rectory lawn in the village. However, under the guidance and support of Reverend Frank Walford, the club relocated to its current location on Belvoir Road in 1944. The club officially opened in 1945 with an initial membership of 30 individuals.
Today, Bottesford Bowls Club proudly participates in five different leagues and is registered with the Nottinghamshire County English Bowling Federation. As a result, members have the opportunity to engage in both club and individual competitions. In 2022, the club celebrated its centenary year, a milestone marked by numerous successes on the green and in a special National Match.
