The Bruny Island Ultra Marathon Club is excited to announce the upcoming 64km event happening on November 30th, 2024. This challenging race will test the participants' endurance and determination as they make their way from the Dennes Point picnic area to the Cloudy Bay lighthouse.
Starting bright and early at 4:00am, runners will navigate through a course that includes a mix of bitumen and dirt roads, providing both a challenge and breathtaking views along the way. With legs of approximately 2km each, relay runners have the option to switch in and out at the start/end of each leg, offering a unique team experience.
For those planning to participate, make sure to check the ferry times and allow plenty of time to reach the starting line. The event is expected to finish between 11am and 2:30pm at the lighthouse, where participants can celebrate their accomplishment and enjoy the scenic beauty of Cloudy Bay.
