Burlington Able Sail is thrilled to announce their upcoming Sailing event for the summer season of 2024! This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals aged 7 and above with physical or cognitive disabilities to experience the joy of sailing on the water. The program is specifically tailored to cater to those who have faced challenges like stroke, trauma, or diseases such as MS, providing adapted boats and custom equipment to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Starting from June and running through August, the summer sailing season will offer one-hour sessions from Monday to Thursday and Friday. Each participant is required to pay a fee of $220 for the entire season, with the first trial session being completely free of charge.
The event will be held at LaSalle Park Marina, conveniently located near the 403 and QEW highways, making it easily accessible for all attendees.
