Join Caius Boathouse, one of the top rowing clubs on the Cam! Situated in Cambridge, this is the rowing club of Gonville & Caius College. Founded in 1827, Caius Boat Club is the largest sports team in the college and takes pride in competing in both the Lent and May Bumps with great success.
Caius Boat Club has a vibrant community and great facilities ready to inspire rowers of all skill levels. Whether you're new to rowing or already a seasoned pro, there’s a spot for you. They run a comprehensive Learn to Row programme, which is one of the best on the Cam, and many of their members have even gone on to row in The Boat Races for the University.
In 2016, their boathouse saw a big refurbishment, making it one of the nicest around. It features a weightlifting gym and top-notch equipment, including high-quality racing shells to help you train and compete at your best.
Caius Boat Club is partnered with PureGym, giving members access to the UK’s largest gym operator with over 230 locations, including two in Cambridge. This means affordable and quality gym memberships to bolster your rowing fitness.
