Chatham Bowling Club

Welcome to Chatham Bowling Club! Established in 1865, our historic club is one of the oldest in the Medway area of New Zealand. We are located on Palmerston Road in Chatham, providing a valuable sports and social facility for both the local and wider community.

At Chatham Bowling Club, we pride ourselves on our extensive facilities. We offer secure on-site parking for our members, ensuring convenience and ease of access. Our immaculately maintained green provides the perfect playing surface for our members to enjoy the sport of lawn bowls. In addition, our contemporary clubhouse features optional changing facilities and cloakrooms, including disabled access.

Our club also boasts a sizeable function room that can accommodate various events and gatherings. It is fully licenced with a sports bar, allowing members to relax and socialise after a game. The club also features an external veranda with tables and seating, offering a picturesque view of the green. Our comprehensive kitchen and catering area ensures that members are well-fed during their time at the club.

As an affiliated club, Chatham Bowling Club is part of Bowls England, Kent County Bowls Association, and EKBA/MBA. The club actively participates in various leagues and tournaments, representing our members proudly.
