Chess Power invites all young chess enthusiasts to participate in the upcoming Whanganui Sarapu Cup, a monthly chess tournament held at Churton School in Auckland, New Zealand. With divisions catering to different skill levels, players aged 4 to 18 can compete in a friendly and competitive environment.
The tournament structure includes three divisions: Pawns, Knights, and Rooks, each offering players a chance to test their skills in a series of 7 round Swiss tournaments. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, there's a place for you at Chess Power.
Registration is necessary to secure a spot in the tournament, with entry fees varying depending on when you sign up. Take part in the exciting competition and stand a chance to win prizes for the Biggest Upset and the Fastest Draw in the West™.
