Form that we will provide. We prioritise the safety and well-being of all our students.
At Chess Club for Kids, located in Altrincham, children aged 6-12 are invited to join a child-friendly club that promotes strategic thinking, challenges, and fun through the game of chess. Chess is not only a fun game but also a valuable tool for promoting cognitive skills such as forward planning, self-sacrifice, and delayed gratification.
Chess Club for Kids recognises the importance of preparing children for the unknown challenges they will face in the future. By teaching them chess, children can develop critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and enhance their mathematical abilities.
The club offers both offline and online classes to cater to different preferences and schedules. Offline classes take place on Tuesdays from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, while online classes are available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. This flexibility ensures that every child can find a suitable time to participate in the classes and learn at their own pace.
Chess Club for Kids is proud to work in close partnership with the Manchester Chess Federation and Chess in Schools and Communities. These partnerships ensure that the club is aligned with national initiatives and promotes chess within the community and schools.
The club is located at The Hub, Pownall Road, Altrincham, with convenient access and ample parking facilities. For any inquiries or to register for classes, parents can contact Chess Club for Kids via telephone at 07905 933966 or email at admin@giftedandtalented. Org. Uk.
Chess Club for Kids aims to provide a supportive and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. By joining the club, children will not only develop their chess skills but also benefit from the intellectual and mental stimulation provided by the various subjects offered, including English language, Russian language, Japanese with a twist, STEM subjects, and music lessons.
To ensure a fair allocation of places in group classes, bookings are made on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment is required before the start of each half-term, and refunds are not available once the course has started. Safety is a top priority, and all tutors have undergone enhanced DBS checks and have experience working with children, including those with special educational needs.
Chess Club for Kids welcomes all children who are curious and eager to learn. Join the club today and give your child the opportunity to excel in chess and beyond.
