Chessforchildren is a renowned chess instructor in Toronto, offering expert coaching to children of all ages. The founder, Goran Milicevic, holds the prestigious international title of FIDE Master and has an impressive track record in various chess tournaments in Canada. In addition to being the Metro Toronto Champion in 1994, Goran has coached many successful Canadian Junior players who have gone on to become Canadian and Ontario Champions by grades and represented Canada on the International level.
Goran's passion for teaching chess is evident in his work with students from Havergal College, York, Sterling Hall, Toronto French, and many other schools in Toronto. Demetrius.
Chessforchildren offers a range of chess classes and programs for students of all levels. Saturday rated tournaments are held regularly for students from Kindergarten to grade 12, with medals awarded to the winners of each section. The winter session at Swansea Town Hall includes lessons and tournaments for different skill levels, with advance pre-registration required for all classes.
