Welcome to Chilled Yoga, a serene and inviting studio located in Leatherhead, Surrey. Founded by Krista Hughes, a dedicated yoga practitioner with 30 years of experience, Chilled Yoga offers a relaxed and welcoming environment for yogis of all levels.
Krista Hughes, a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance, believes in the power of yoga to help individuals relax, destress, and connect with themselves and the world around them. Her classes are designed to encourage participants to develop their own personal practise and create a deep sense of connexion between mind, body, and spirit.
At Chilled Yoga, the studio embraces the Vinyasa Flow style, which combines elements from various yoga traditions. This unique approach allows for sequences of poses to be linked together using breath, creating a fluid and dynamic practise that enhances strength, flexibility, and stamina.
People come to yoga for a multitude of reasons, and Chilled Yoga welcomes yogis with all goals and aspirations. Whether you are seeking physical fitness, personal relaxation, a connexion to your inner self, or a path to enlightenment, Chilled Yoga is here to support you on your journey.
In addition to regular classes, Chilled Yoga also offers workshops and events designed to deepen the practise and explore specific aspects of yoga. One such workshop, “Finding Balance Through Grounding,” provides an opportunity to reconnect with your roots and discover tools for finding balance in your physical, emotional, and spiritual life. This full-day workshop includes gentle techniques such as relaxation, Chi Qong movement, meditation, sound, yoga, oils, and food. No prior experience is needed, just an open heart and a willingness to explore.
The schedule at Chilled Yoga is designed to accommodate various schedules and preferences. Saturday morning classes are held from 9:15 to 10:30 am, and a new Monday morning class is now available from 10:00 to 11:15 am. Drop-ins are welcome at a rate of 7 per session. For those seeking a more personalised experience, Chilled Yoga also offers individual holistic relaxation therapy sessions.
Using practises such as Reiki, visualisation, meditation, yoga, and breathing techniques, Krista helps clients find their inner peace and alleviate stress and anxiety.
