Sue from Clementswood Bowling Club here. We've got a great club over in Ilford, and Sue wants to let you all know about what’s on offer. For those who don’t know, Clementswood is the place to be if you enjoy lawn bowling, whether you’re a pro or just starting out.

The green here is top-notch, well-maintained and just perfect for a good game. Meeting the standards set out by Bowls England, you’re in for an enjoyable and competitive time.

When you become a member, there’s loads you can get stuck into: regular club sessions, competitive matches, and plenty of social events. Sue organises various tournaments throughout the year, so you’ll have plenty of chances to show off your skills and meet other bowlers in a friendly atmosphere.

If you’re new to the sport, don’t worry. There are coaching and training programmes run by experienced bowlers to get you up to speed. You’ll get all the support you need to feel confident out on the green.

Clementswood is all about community spirit too. There are regular social events like BBQs, club dinners, and fundraisers. It’s a great chance to mix with other members, make new friends, and strengthen club bonds.

Sue also wants to see everyone leading an active and healthy lifestyle, so there's a big push on physical activity. Besides the bowling, there are other sports facilities and recreational areas nearby to keep you busy.
