Dave, the owner and head trainer, has a unique background in education and a passion for powerlifting and strongman competitions. Before becoming a personal trainer, he worked in the education field for 10 years as a primary school teacher and later as a school counsellor and deputy principal.
Dave's journey in strength and fitness began in 2012 when he started competing in powerlifting at the state, national, and international levels. He has also competed in strongman competitions at a state level. His main goal has always been to continuously strengthen his body and achieve longevity in the strength and fitness industry, which can often be a challenge. Through careful programming and planning, Dave has been able to maintain his strength and continue to improve over the years.
Some of Dave's notable accomplishments include bench pressing 227. 5 kg (500lb) in competition, winning South Australia's Strongest Man competition, and competing at the WPC World Championships in Florida. He has also achieved a total of 887. 5 kg in sleeves (330 kg/227.
