Dance & More is a prestigious ballet school located in Canterbury, New Zealand. The school is led by the talented instructor, Zeynep Taner, who has 25 years of experience as a classical ballet and dance teacher. Zeynep holds a degree from Turkey's respected Mimar Sinan University Conservatory Classical Ballet and Contemporary Dance Department. She has worked in several schools as a dance teacher and has put on over a hundred shows. Zeynep also owns her own dance school in zmir, Turkey since 2002.

Zeynep Taner is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and holds a Silver Swan Licence. She is also certified in “Mat Pilates” and “Reformer Pilates” from the Body Balance Academy in Istanbul. Her commitment to the safety and well-being of her students is evident through her completion of safeguarding courses and possession of a DBS check.

Dance & More Canterbury offers ballet classes for both children and adults. For children, there are Mini Ballet classes available for 3 to 4-year-olds, which serve as preparation for future Classical Ballet classes. Pre-ballet classes for children aged 4-6 are also offered, with older children being placed in appropriate grade levels based on physical competence. Students who undergo a 2-year preparation and 8-year grade classes can obtain certificates.

The Ballet for Adults programme is perfect for absolute beginners or those who used to enjoy ballet as a child. Classes focus on teaching the basics of classical ballet while building fitness and technique in a fun environment. The Silver Swans programme is specially designed for older learners and aims to improve mobility, posture, coordination, and energy levels.
