Just a quick note from Sarah, your friendly organiser at Durham Indoor Bowling Club 🎳. We're located just two miles from the heart of Durham City, and offer top-notch bowling facilities with 8 rinks and one of the best playing surfaces around.
Sarah's made sure the club is buzzing with activities for everyone, including 'drop-in' sessions, internal leagues, knockout competitions, and interclub matches. Whether you're booking a rink for yourself or a group, there's plenty of opportunities to roll your favourite sport 😊.
Bowls is an inclusive sport for all ages and abilities. New to it? Sarah's got you covered with free 'Taster' sessions and coaching from our qualified and experienced team.
Membership is open for both bowlers and social members. With a membership, you get full access to all our facilities and events, blending both the love of the game and a vibrant social life.
Besides our rinks, the club boasts a fully-licensed bar with catering services. Our large function/meeting room (with a dance floor!) can be adjusted for different group sizes, perfect for all sorts of events. We regularly host ballroom and line dancing, whist and bridge sessions, quiz nights, and various social and charity events.
We're open all year round, with a viewing area for spectators and parking for 84 cars. Our location, just on the edge of the City, is ideal for hosting conferences, business meetings, wedding receptions, birthday and anniversary celebrations, and wakes.
