The club meets mainly at the Berrywood Road roundabout, gathering most Wednesday evenings during the spring and summer to take advantage of the longer days. They also organise longer rides on Saturdays and Sundays, and at least one multi-day ride each year. On the Wednesday closest to their anniversary, they hold a special ride that ends at the Melbourne Arms – their unofficial clubhouse.
Geoff takes on most of the organisational duties, although other members chip in to keep things running smoothly. While they are serious about their cycling, the Duston Old Cranks maintain a laid-back vibe, making sure not to take themselves too seriously.
