Get ready to boogie with Dynamix Dance School in Cambridge, the oldest and most groovy dance spot in town! Since '92, Carmel Howarth and her team have been shaking things up with top-notch Jazz, Hip Hop, and Contemporary dance classes based on the NZAMD syllabi.
Carmel, who kickstarted her own dance journey at 14, is now the Contemporary dance queen at Dynamix. She’s all about giving rural kids the same chances she got back in the day.
Sirtori Eade, who started at the school when she was just 5, and Brooke Cameron, a Dynamix legend since she was 7, will get you jamming in Jazz and Hip Hop. These two bring their A-game to every class, especially for the littlies in Pre 3 and Grade 3 Jazz.
Jenna Cook ditched Jazz to become a Hip Hop star and now teaches Pre 3 (Gold) and Level 2 Hip Hop. And Georgia Kuijpers, who’s been grooving since she was six, helps out with Junior SLS Jazz and Contemporary 1 classes – she’s a hit with the students!
